Men and women present with different disease symptoms, courses and responses to therapeutics. Understanding the impact of gender/sex on health can enhance precision medicine as well as disease prevention and health promotion strategies. Gender/sex-specific designs impact ergonomics and biomechanics improving function and not just appearance. We work to understand the unique characteristics of how sex/gender impacts our daily lives.
