Biographical Info

Joshua Duarte was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. Joshua was raised in a single-parent, low-income-immigrant household. His character and way of thinking have been highly influenced by the obstacles put in the way of his immigrant family. Joshua graduated from the University of Georgia in May 2021 with a degree in Criminal Justice and a degree in Sociology. He is currently enrolled in the Master of Public Administration and Policy program. His areas of interest involve policing/law enforcement, local government, and public policy.

Joshua hopes to become a special agent working for the federal government, specifically the Department of State. In his free time, Josh loves to work out, listen to music, try new recipes, and watch sports. Joshua loves to lend a helping hand whenever it is needed!
